Proverbs 10:3_
“The LORD does not let the righteous go hungry, but he thwarts the craving of the wicked.”
In the Emphasized Bible by Rotherham, he translates: Yahweh suffereth not to famish the soul of the righteous, but the desire of the lawless he thrusteth away.
Some translations focus on hunger for food, but more important is the hunger of the soul. There is a need within me to constantly nourish my person. Our Father made men and women this way to need instruction, knowledge, and hope. And He Himself will see to it that his children are fed.
By contrast, the desire of those who do not regard the Father still come before him. He hears all. Yet, the word “thrust” is intentional. It’s to push forcefully. Yahweh is affected by all men and He is aware of our hunger and desires constantly ascending before Him. He’s not slumbering, too busy, needing to be roused, nor does he have an out of date operating system unable to handle the volume of the billions. In contrast, He’s tenderly aware of our wants and needs. Yet, those that are lawless — their hearts are not attracted to the rules which govern, but rather their own set of values which focus on doing their own thing and ignoring or violating others — he intentionally pushes aside.
